The Science Explained

Why Are African-Americans More Susceptible to Vaccine Injury?”

AFLDS Affiliate Physician Dr. Christina Parks has her Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology and details why current mRNA vaccines should not be trusted by the African-American community. Her research has shown that African-Americans are more susceptible to RNA viruses because of lacking enzymes to break down mRNA. Since current vaccines are mRNA-based, this could prove highly dangerous for the African-American community. African-Americans also face the legacy of discrimination and experimentation, skepticism may be life-saving.

You've heard that African Americans experience more severe Covid disease. Why is that? And more importantly, what can you do to protect yourself? One of the reasons that African Americans experience more Covid disease, so severe Covid disease, is because they are predisposed by genetic mutations that are protective against malaria, but compromise their body's ability to transport oxygen, and protect itself from cellular stress, when the system is stressed, such as when you get a virus.

And so you need to see your doctor and see if you have one of several mutations, because once you identify if you have one of these mutations, then your doctor will know if you get Covid that there are specialized individualized treatments that you should be receiving, that other people may not need such as a blood transfusion.

So what are these mutations? One is sickle cell trait or sickle cell anemia. You would probably know if you have sickle cell anemia, but if you have sickle cell trait, you might not know. And if your system is highly, highly stressed, it is still going to compromise your body's ability to transport oxygen. There are also thalassemias that compromise your ability to transport oxygen, so you should be tested for those.

And there's a trait called glucose six phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, or G6PD deficiency that 1 in 10 African males suffers from, and so if you're an African male and you don't know if you have this trait, you need to find out. Because not only could you get much more sick with Covid, but there may be other things like taking certain medications or even getting a vaccine that it may compromise your system and your healthcare provider and you need to discuss that.

The second thing I want to talk about is vitamin D, African-Americans 86% of them have sub optimal vitamin D levels because of the darkness of our skin we don't metabolize it as efficiently as our European counterparts. And so we typically are deficient. A new paper came out that showed that if you can get vitamin D levels into the sufficient area of 50 nanograms per milliliter, that Covid mortality goes almost to zero.

So you need to work with your healthcare provider, make sure you're getting the vitamin D and other things such as magnesium and vitamin K2 that balance out that metabolism of vitamin D so that you can make sure your levels are optimal and give your immune system and your body the anti-inflammatory power and the immune power that it needs.

The third thing is that African-Americans are predisposed genetically to inflammation. Many of us know this, I know I specifically am, and so there are things that you can do to reduce your inflammation, stop eating sugar. All right, there are things like vitamin D will reduce your inflammation.

Curcumin has been known to reduce your inflammation. So you can talk to your natural health care provider or your health care provider. Hydroxychloroquine also reduces inflammation and it has been used to treat metabolic disease so it can reduce your underlying markers that predispose you to more severe Covid.

So I hope this has been helpful. What you really need to do is get with your doctor and demand the individualized care that you should have as an African-American.
